The engineering
C1NCY is the University of Cincinnati's competitive VEX U robotics team. We design, build, program, and compete with a robot built entirely by students — from the first CAD sketch to the final match.
Members work across mechanical design, electrical systems, embedded software, and competition strategy, gaining hands-on engineering experience across the full stack of what it takes to build something that has to work under pressure.
CAD, simulation, and prototyping that turn strategy into a buildable system.
Fabrication, machining, 3D printing, and hands-on assembly in our shop.
Wiring, sensors, and system integration that keep every subsystem talking to each other.
C++ development, autonomous routines, and driver controls, built and tested in-house.
Scouting, match strategy, and driver practice that turn a good robot into a winning one.
Engineering beyond the field
C1NCY works to expand access to STEM education, support our community, and introduce students to engineering through hands-on experiences.

Workshops and demonstrations that introduce local students to robotics and engineering.
Volunteering and service projects throughout the Cincinnati community.
Helping younger students build confidence and interest in engineering.
Bringing robotics to schools, community events, and prospective students.
Competition
We develop our own robot, strategy, software, and engineering solutions throughout the season.
